COVID-19 INFORMATION

Many families in our community struggle to make ends meet and unexpected events such as the coronavirus (COVID-19) can have a devastating impact. Children in our community who relied on their schools for breakfast and lunch are especially vulnerable to food insecurity. We need your help! We are in need of kid friendly foods (Canned Meat:  Tuna, Chicken, Vienna Sausage, Canned Fruit, Ravioli, Vegetables, Beans, Soup, Chili w/ Beans, Juice Boxes, Macaroni & Cheese, Snacks (individual size) Pudding & Jell-O Packs, Snack Crackers, Raisins, Applesauce, Fruit Chews) to help children struggling with hunger. Donations can be dropped off to our office M-F from 9am-4pm, United Way of North Central Florida https://www.unitedwayncfl.org/ M-F 9am-4pm at 6031 NW 1st Place or The Junior League of Gainesville’s thrift shop at 430 N Main St beginning Monday March 23-April 3 donations can be dropped off on Mon, Wed, Fri at the following times 11am-1pm and 4pm-6pm.
